@Romencer17 Amon Amarth is viking themed death metal yeah

but vikings themselves never made "metal" in times of old, so I suppose there is truly no original sense of the term. I agree though, that some bands try to hop on the viking-image bandwagon. But to each his own and I can only hope that those who make songs to and of the Norse Gods, wear a hammer of have some connection with Asatru. But controversy aside, Windir always will be my greatest influence when it comes to making "wiking" tunes
