Im the only one that tried all theese methods on how to make your fraps not lag and no one didn't work?
-
@willsoe To put it another way. say I set fraps to record at 200 frames per second. My computer cannot display a game at 200 frames per second, but the video made by fraps will still be at 200 frames per second, but seeing as the source footage isnt at 200 frames per second, you are basically capturing blank frames in between the 30fps ones.

Changing your Fraps record rate to your monitor refresh rate assumes your computer has enough power to display and record the game at 60fps.
If it doesnt, and the games fps drops to, say, 30 while recording, Fraps will still record at 60FPS BUT (Big but here) the footage captured will not actually be 60 frames per second. The video is an artificial 60fps. You are essentially capturing ~30fps footage at 60fps, meaning every 2nd frame is artificial.

@ErcGaming it didnt. I instead dropped from 14 to 9 fps when recording. I normally get 35-80 fps not recording...

@TimeLine2Point0 ok well please remember depending on your laptops specs, Laptops with the same specs as a desktop usually still dont run as good as a desktop. While Gaming and recording with a laptop you'll need more then if you try doing so with a desktop. Its a matter if your laptop is good enough or not and then playing with the settings. If your running 30 fps on any computer as a normal rate recording isnt much of a option its to low to maintain the Cpu for it.
