Bajeebus! Did that knob say "Self Destruct"? I'm guessing that opens the lowest register in the house. I'm finding myself breathless listening to this... If I were there, I'd have fainted. (o.o)

It looks like he's smirking while playing. Like he anticipated bad sound quality despite most average intelligent people knowing how hard it is to record organ music. It's like he's saying "Bet you can't do this, fuckers" to all those haters.

WOW! Thanks!

@alinfazakas The camera automatic volume control was at its limit. Your little organ game might be better through your little computer speakers but were you to be in the presence of this instrument on full organ you'd need ear protectors. It has to be experienced in real life.

@Plagiarisme Thanks for such compliments. Search "Hugh Potton Reubke" and kindly leave appropriate comments there. My camera on this video had sound recording quality well described by your language but captured the extraordinary skill of this organist. Hugh Potton, however, is in a class of his own and the recording quality reflected what we expected from him as a performer.
I'm unaware of any meaning of "gay" other than "happy" and "colourful". Thanks for the compliment.

I would challenge the any and all of the people complaining to post their own performances of this piece, on their own instruments, to youtube. And we can compare your performances to this one. Bad recording, yeah. Bad registration? Hard to tell without being there. But oh my! All those notes! Every note in the freakin' piece is a 64th note with, perhaps, a few 64th note triplets thrown in. It's not so much a musical work as an aerobic exercise routine.

@sbergman27 You're entirely right about this - any organist who can play this piece, as far as I'm concerned, is a total genius . . . . and that's why I was so in awe of him that I got out the camera . . .
