Racing The Monster Mile, Dover Delaware, 2007

In October, I bought passes to drive the Monster Mile in Dover, Delaware for my girlfriend's 30th birthday day present. Along with spending the weekend at the beach for her present, I figured I'd try something neither of us has ever tried. Driving a race car on a small track with the high banking turns at or around 130 MPH...was an unforgettable, awesome experience which has inspired us to turn it into an annual event. The Nascar instructors and professional drivers that help you learn and insure your safe driving experience were the classiest group of people I've ever seen handle an event. I've driven sportbikes over 150 MPH and this was a different kinda high, I can't really explain but the G-forces that are combined with the speed to deliver a pressure packed mind numbing experience. We are hooked and plan on traveling to many different tracks in the future but I believe that The Monster Mile will be our favorite experience of all...THANK YOU!
