Borrow a Book this Summer, Get a FREE Ticket to
Ride METRO and South Portland Bus Service
(Portland, ME) -- Children and teens, 18 and younger, will receive a FREE ticket to ride on METRO or South Portland Bus service when they borrow a book at their local public library this summer, June -- August.
Children and teens receive one free ticket per visit at these participating library locations:
Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square, Congress Street in Portland is serviced by all METRO routes and South Portland Routes #21 & #24A.

South Portland Public Library, 282 Broadway (serviced by all South Portland routes) and 155 Westcott Road (South Portland Routes #24A & #24B), South Portland.
All local public libraries welcome children and teens throughout the summer with special events and summer reading recommendations.
Portland Greater Portland Transit District METRO and South Portland City Bus travel throughout Portland, South Portland, Westbrook and Falmouth.
