--- (Spoilers?)
Playthrough / Walkthrough Part 17:
Final video showing the fifth & sixth stages in Wily's Castle Fortress. Also included is spoiler theater as they say on Xplay, the ending to ega Man 3 is included in this video. Hope everyone enjoyed this series of videos and possibly also subscribed.

Wily Machine Number 3 (ワイリーマシン3号, Wairī Mashin 3 Gou?), aka the Pinbot, is the third Wily Machine.
1st: Its weak point is the gun under it. The gun shoots energy balls that spin throughout the screen.
2nd: Its weak point is the dome Dr. Wily is inside. Hit him when he goes down to smash, or use Rush Jet in order to reach high enough to hit him. When destroyed, it is revealed that the Dr. Wily inside of it was a fake, and Mega Man will go to the last level to fight against the final boss, Gamma.

Gamma (ガンマ, Ganma?) is a giant peacemaker robot constructed by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily. During Gamma's construction, Dr. Wily feigned peacefulness, gaining Dr. Light's trust and assistance long enough to complete the big robot. Dr. Wily's true intentions were to use the enormous creation as a weapon, furthering his evil plans for world domination. He is the final boss from Mega Man 3. He is very vunerable to Top Spin, and can be defeated in seconds by using it rapidly. He also appeared in the cartoon Captain N: The Game Master.
edit Trivia

- Gamma (Γ) is the third letter of the Greek alphabet. He is the first in the Mega Man franchise to have a Greek letter for a name although three other characters, Epsilon (Ε), Sigma (Σ) and Omega (Ω), share the same naming convention.
- Sigma's final forms in Mega Man X5 and Mega Man X7 are similar to Gamma.
- In Mega Man X4 during the cutscene of a duel that place between Sigma and Zero, Sigma mentions a Maverick Hunter named Gamma that was destroyed along with his troops by Zero (The english version of that scene refers to him as "Garma", however). However, the namesakes were most likely coincidental and probably has no connection whatsoever to the Classic-era Gamma.

Mega Man 3 (ロックマン3 Dr.ワイリーの最期!?, Rokkuman Surī Dokutā Wairī no Saigo!??, lit. Rockman 3: The End of Dr. Wily!?) is a platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the third part of the original Mega Man series. The game was released on September 28, 1990 in Japan with North American and European releases later in 1990 and 1992, respectively. In Mega Man 3, the hero helps his creator and a former villain collect parts for a peace-keeping robot by defeating several Robot Masters. Following the success of Mega Man 2, the game has sold over one million copies since its release and has become a fan favorite. Like other titles in the series, Mega Man 3 has been re-released a number of times as part of various Mega Man compilations, and has most recently made its way to the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.
Story: In the year 200X Dr. Wily claims to have reformed and works with Dr. Light on a project to build a peace-keeping robot named "Gamma." However, the eight Robot Masters that the two scientists had designed in order to help maintain peace go berserk and make off with the eight power crystals. Once again, Mega Man is called into action, this time with a trusty canine companion named Rush, to go after them and retrieve the crystals located on various mining planets in space.

  • You know why in the heck is the energy upgrade is there, you start with full energy

  • Personally, I'd imagine that the Japanese version is harder to where battle damage carries over into the next part of Wily's Castle. Then again, if that was a feature, it was taken out before they released it or it's some sort of joke. I'm not really sure but I'd think it would be something along these lines.

  • Wow I didn't know you could fire while riding the jet. I've been trying to do it without it. That makes the fight infinitely easier.
