Actually, the viewers cough up way more than $26 million in funding. Maybe you've never watched PBS, but they're doing pledge drives all the damn time.

Once again, instead of nickel-and-diming over important things like publicly funded stations that air educational and quality programming, you should talk to your congressman about corporate welfare and the trillions of dollars lost to tax evading corporations and super-rich misers.

This is the genuis of Sesame Street. They blended entertainment for both children while sneaking in humor for the parents.
