They're getting people to come to a church.. So what? That could help someone find Christ! That could change someone's life! I love the Crossing! They're accepting.. that's hard to find in churches these days..

If you're not comfortable with The Crossing's ways- then don't go. Oh, and I didn't go because of any giveaways or bribes. I went because every time i drove by everyone at the church was so friendly and non-judgemental. And I instantly knew this was where God wanted me when I attended the 1st service. I wasn't baptised as a child; and a year ago I would've told you I never would be. But as I've said before- the Crossing changed my life and relationship with God.

I am sick to death of people calling The Crossing a cult or Eric a "Spiritual Predator". I've been going to the Crossing for 2 1/2 months now, and my life has completely turned around. I have NEVER felt comfortable in ANY church until now. I am truly happy now, and so are my children- and it's all because The Church taught me the truth about Jesus.

The same thing it takes to get them it takes to keep them. How about The Spirit drawing them and adding to the church as it did in the book of Acts. But that would require trusting God and being led by The Spirit. But no can do for power hungry pastors who want numbers now.
