Asking the Imaams and the Ahl Bayt even from Rasulullah the hakikat is asking from Allah Taala. Asking from them, like Rasulullah to give us shafaat, is in their human capacity only. Their souls (arwah) are alive, thus asking their support (madad) is like asking help from another man who is alive. Is asking for help shirk?

Sunnis and Shias don't worship tombs. We ask Allah Taala to bless the dead and bless us with the baraka of the pious ones that's called tawassul. Salawat to Rasullallah is also a form of tawassul don't you get it???
