An exciting thrilling game that featured a Dan Marino led Miami Team and a Pittsburgh team led by Mark Malone. Funny thing was David Woodley was the former Miami QB before he was traded to Pittsburgh because of the discovery of Dan Marino, but he was benched for Mark Malone (Happy?) The Miracle Steelres and the Dolphins slug it out in the 1984 AFC championship game.

  • thanks to whoever uploaded this. i'm not a dolphins fan but this is one of the best games of the 80's to watch. 2nd year for marino, record setting year. vs. steelers, one of the nfl's greatest franchises. a shootout that results in miami's afc championship and dan's one superbowl appearance. this was when dan was unstoppable and many people thought he'd win a superbowl. sadly,in SB19,the 49ers played a defense that smothered him and joe montana spent superbowl sunday picking the dolphin d apart

  • As a Denver fan, I remember not watching this game because I was still crushed because of the week before. I think that the Broncos could have defeated Miami if they didn't get knocked off by the Steelers.

  • @TheLizardKing1967: It was only Stallworth's 11th season.

  • Dan Marinoooooooo Never won a Super Bowloooooooo

  • @TheLizardKing1967

Ha! I said the same thing when I saw Jack Lambert. I think this was his final year. Sad way to go out.

  • @LogoAttitude Yeah.....Noll drafted Texas Tech lineman Gabe Rivera, who he

thought could be another Mean Joe! But 'bout halfway into his rookie year it came

to a sudden end when a drunken Rivera wrecked his Z & in the impact severed

his spinal cord and fractured 2 vertebrae in the process!

  • Damm. Stalworth was still playing in 1984

  • @twinkee1011 Uwe just had a really bad year, his last in the NFL.

  • Stupid holding call on Erenberg at 1:16:11. No way ! Malone then goes and throws his 3rd pick of the game. Disaster !

  • Merlin Olsen, Great football player, actor and announcer. RIP Merlin
