CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY chp 45

[Nick and Sarah have just been escorted onto the plane, leaving behind hundreds of screaming girls]
NICK: I thought those girls were going to follow us on the plane.
SARAH: [Laughing] I forgot how crazy your fans could get.
NICK: Well at least it's going to be a quiet flight there.
SARAH: Nick thanks so much.
NICK: It's nothing. I'm just glad I get to spend the next week with you.
[Their plane takes off and they layback into their chairs. The flight goes smoothly and after 14 hours, they land in Aeropoti di Milano. Right when they get out of the airport, they hear the bustle of the busy city. They can smell the different foods being sold in the streets nearby]
SARAH: Whoa! Nick, it's so beautiful here!
NICK: Yeah. Look at that!
[He pointed at the beautiful fountain to their left. The city was busy with people and cars all trying to get to their destination]
SARAH: And you can actually walk around here without a whole crowd of people pointing and screaming.
[Nick put his arm around her and they walked to the waiting limo]
NICK: [Smiling] Yup. I feel so free—.
ESTEFANIA: Nick Jonas! Hi! I am Stephanie. Can I take a picture with you? Please!
[A fan came up to them before they reached the limo. Nick was happy that she seemed to be the only one to recognize him]
NICK: Sure.
SARAH: I'll take it for you.
[Estefania was about to hand her the camera, but she recognized Sarah, too]
ESTEFANIA: Oh my Jonas! Are you Sarah? His girlfriend?
SARAH: Oh, well, yeah. How did you know about that?
[Sarah was shocked that anyone knew about her, but was very flattered]
ESTEFANIA: I watched you guys on the Ellen Degeneres Show. You are so pretty!
SARAH: Thanks!
ESTEFANIA: Can you be in the picture too?
SARAH: Sure.
[They ask the driver to take a photo of them three and they smile at the camera]
ESTEFANIA: Thank you so much! I hope I see you guys around!
NICK: Your welcome. [Laughing] You're famous now, too.
[They got to the hotel and they both checked into their rooms which were right next to each other. Then they went up to their rooms to shower and dress up for lunch]
NICK: Knock knock.
[Sarah opens the door and finds Nick holding a big bouquet of bright flowers]
SARAH: Aww. That's so pretty!
NICK: I thought you might like it.
[He walked in and Sarah laid the flowers on the table in front of her]
NICK: How are you feeling?
SARAH: I'm doing ok.
NICK: Sarah.
[She looked up from the clothes she was unpacking]
NICK: I can tell when there's something on your mind.
[Nick sat on the couch and pulled her along with him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek]
SARAH: Well, I was just thinking about my life before we ever met.
NICK: Do you thinking you were happier then?
SARAH: No, the exact opposite. I feel lucky that I've met such a great guy who I am going to be spending the best vacation ever with. And that guy also happens to be the hottest singer/guitar player in the world.
NICK: [Smiling] I think I'm luckier. The celebrity life is cool, I can't say I don't like it, but even with everything that's been going on, I found a girl that loves me for me.
[Sarah fought to keep her eyes dry, but a tear escaped, and Nick wiped it away and held her face closer to his. He stole a kiss, then held her closer in his arms, afraid that if he ever let go, she would disappear, like a dream]
SARAH: [Giggling] I think we better get going. I could barely eat anything on the plane.
NICK: Same here.

The next day

SARAH: Nick, where are we going?
[Sarah's eyes were closed and she held onto Nick's hand to guide her through the crowded streets]
NICK: We're almost there.
SARAH: It's getting dark. Shouldn't we be getting back to the limo?
NICK: No, because you wouldn't be able to ride in this.
[Sarah opened her eyes. In front of her was a gondola dressed with beautiful flowers]
SARAH: Nick, this is so awesome. But when did you set this up?
NICK: Just this morning, after breakfast.
[Sarah leaned against his shoulder and he put his arm around her]
SARAH: This is so beautiful. Really.
[Nick and Sarah were quiet. The moon's light reflected off the water and shone on the flowers. Light music played in the background and Sarah felt like she was in a dream]
NICK: Close your eyes one more time.
SARAH: Another surprise?
NICK: Yeah.
SARAH: Nick, you don't have to do any of this.
NICK: I know, but I want to. I love how your face lights up.
SARAH: Ok.
[She closed her eyes and Nick put a velvet box into her hands]
NICK: Open it.
[She held the long, thin box in her hands, and slowly opened it, unsure if she could handle anymore surprises]
SARAH: Nick!
NICK: Do you like it?
SARAH: Like it? It's... gorgeous.
[A yellow gold charm bracelet sat on the silk lining. In the middle of a bracelet hung one charm. It was a heart with little pink diamonds set around Nick's initials]
NICK: So you never forget me.
