@gregkondrak Well what I have observed from kids my age (18) are people who enjoy mainstreams. Do a little Facebook creeping sometime and you will find the majority of people have such artists as lil wayne, wiz khalifa, and drake as their favorite artists. These three artists will have no historical relevance in a decade nor will kids enjoy the music (vaguely speeaking).

@BTRFitness Why does everyone now a days just assume kids are retarded just because of whats played on the radio? When was the last time you noticed a young girl or boy just sitting back and listening to a radio? Most kids just play a variety of music via the internet, lots of it independent mixes and stuff. I'm 13 and I have not one friend or peer who's genuinely impressed by what's played on the radio. Most of them scoff at it or get annoyed because of how much they're played.

@BTRFitness, im 14 years old and i only like great music, like pearl jam, and i totally agree with you that kid like me are stuck with trash music. if i could have one and only wish i would ask that this kind of trash and disgusting music had never existed, so this world we are living would be more creative and magic, and less disturbing and repulsing.

American culture is so processed... food, media, movies, and MUSIC! This is truly great music yet kids are stuck listening to the Little Wayne, Wiz Kalifa, Rihanna bullshit they hear on the radio. I feel like the good music is hidden along with the good movies. Just because it's on the radio or there are numerous explosions with hot chicks and killing doesn't mean the movie is good.
