When i was little my family would take long car trips. As we set out my dad would put in his favorite mix tape filled with your typical up beat driving songs except for the last track on the second side, which was this song.

I would lay in the farthest back seat, my head resting on a horribly uncomfortable plastic storage container/arm rest, dreading getting to this song. When i heard it I felt as if someone had placed a heavy stone on my chest.

It is a good song but i still don't like it.

Got nothing to do with merit. Your mothers love was unconditional. Also, you can't change whatever happened. Your life is the aggregate of all your decisions. Decisions already made, and more importantly, decisions you have yet to make. Do your best to make them count and you've been more than any mother could hope for.
