This is an unique spin on the hundreds of everyday-pic projects out there on YouTube. I probably can claim the title and credit of creating the first "Male to Female Everyday Pic" project. :)
Around June 2010, I came out as transgender after years of fear, anxiety, and secrecy. I also mistakenly identified as a gay man when in fact, I am really a straight woman.
So I am going through a gender change and being full-time, and that coinceded with my everyday project. About mid-way in the video, I shaved my head as an indication of "rebirth" of myself. You can really start seeing feminizing changes towards the last 20 seconds of the video or so.
Ok, it has been a year and half since declaring my gender change in the summer of 2010. It's been an uphill battle. My insurance company denied me coverage for hormones, so I recently switched to another insurance company.
I also found a trans-friendly clinic, and the doctor there was able to prescribe me hormones. So, finally I started HRT, and I am only three weeks on it so far.
So, by May 2012, you will probably see more changes coming! so subscribe to keep updated on my progress!
