Just found this on my hard drive. Back in 2002 I took a one-day crash course in Final Cut Pro, learning how to edit mostly, also how to shoot with editing in mind. So here's what I produced that day - it's a video shoot of a photo shoot. I walked around NYC till I found something interesting, I came across this Brazilian photographer dude and his male model out in front of the Strand bookstore near Union Square. I had a Canon DV cam and played fly on the wall for a few minutes. Certainly not the world's greatest movie clip, but what's good about it is that I shot it with only one camera, despite the illusion that I've captured simultaneous action from multiple angles. That's the craft of effective editing.
