If the XFL had tried to sell itself as a semi-pro league, gotten some real talent, and still held true to their better rule changes (no-celebration penalties etc.) it could have worked. Believe me, there are plenty of crazy personalities in regular NFL players. But Vince McMahon made one of his few business mistakes and tried to sell it as WWE on a football field.

What the fuck does everyone think the XFL was going to be?? it was fucking entertainment people!!!! It was WWF in football pads. I had no problem with it...after all...what else did we have to watch during those months except NBA and Baseball??? Shoot right now with this NBA lockout there probably won't be a NBA season...right now I'd wish for some XFL in the late winter/spring months. lol

I've never had so much fun at a game than I had during the XFL.
Yes, I'm aware that the football sucked. But the atmosphere was unlike any I've encountered since. When you have a bunch of drunk Raider & 49er fans, watching terrible football, you have to turn it into a party. There was a "dancing Homer", Girls getting arrested for lifting up their shirts, & so much more. I was looking forward to the season after that didn't happen. R.I.P. Hell Hole.
