@RedJazzBass1 Really? No wonder I've been getting dizzy. It just goes to show that even after 50 years of playing, one can still learn these things. Thanks for the info. You seem to be well informed about these things so I wonder if you could tell me why he is dressed so warmly when he's sitting right next to that black kerosene heater? He must be sweltering! Phew!

You're a great player and instructor but can I ask you how you get the bass-strap around your neck like that? I've tried and tried but I keep blacking out. Will it get easier?
