This statement reveals a lack of understand of what they are struggling against. The fundamental problem is that ALL they/we as Americans are taught is White history/studies. So specifically to answer your question, no they would not fight against it because they aren't fighting against it. If "White Studies" was actually offered as such they probably wouldn't fight that because White people are also robbed of their own identity/agency when they're not taught to critically examine that identity
