Nice job. Seems like you measure the coin size by counting the number of worm gear rotations until the coin hits the touch sensor. Is that correct? Pennies are likely too close to the same size as dimes but if that is the problem you could probably use a light sensor to see the color difference.

I found that there was too much variation of when the touch sensor got pressed. so it just pushes on the coin until it can't push any more, then measures the number of rotations it has made.

@damastermind2903 it just runs at a low power for a certain amount of time.
