  • I find it unfortunate that this guy chose not to read through What Love is This? The reason the expanded edition is so big is simply because Dave has responded to Calvinists who have accused him of misrepresenting Calvinism.

Those who are interested can find it on a page on my site titled "Resources on Calvinism".

On that page, you can also find Dave Hunt's response to just some of the many false accusations made by James White. You can find a link to my site in my profile.

  • Hence my response being to this lecture, not to the book.

  • @TheWitnis I agree, I myself was an arminian (but without knowing), and now I am a calvinist, as a matter of fact I started to think that there was something in my theology wrong when I Red Romans 9

  • Dave Hunt believes that all Calvinists believe that only Calvinists are saved, this is false since most Calvinists started out as Arminians after God saved them, but after studying scripture, they find the much deeper meaning of God's sovereighnty. The truth is that the majority of those who hate God's sovereighnty hate Calvinists and don't consider Calvinists saved.

  • Jesus is a mighty Savior who chose who He would save before time and came to die for the elects sins so that they could and would be justified by His sacrifice. If this is not the case, then Jesus is a failure.

  • If you have not done so yet then I would suggest that you read "Debating Calvinism" (James White and Dave Hunt).

  • check your spiritual pride and then give me the definition of love

  • Lazy...

  • Dave Hunt "sloppy" and "floppy"? You admit that you did not read this book, how sloppy that make you bro? God's wish is for all people to be saved, he does not want for a sinner to die... but if you choose to obscure this statements you can do that since you do have a free will to choose.
