Bahraini government forces detaining young protesters for demanding the ouster of King Hamad as a peaceful protest in the village of Ali.
As prisons get filled up with anti-government protesters, the number of those killed during the revolution is also rising. Just last week four protesters were killed over a twenty-four hour period, taking the revolutions death toll to over 60.
Manama claims violence against its security forces is rising, urging the parliament to set a fifteen years jail punishment for those who clash with police.
Meanwhile the US is ratcheting up its support for the Bahraini government. Several unnamed US congressman have confirmed that the Obama administration has approved a new sale of arms and military equipment to Bahraini security forces.
The move seems to be in stroll contrast with Obama's promise of support for waves of change in the Middle East.
