HOLY HELL. She is unbelievable.. One year after TJGS.

Thanks for the insight. Your comment makes sense about it being flattering when she was a little bit heavier or much thinner. I've noticed a couple of other dresses from the show, as well as the pant suit that was made for her on "Valley of the Dolls" that she wore when she performed during her last few years.

I think there was an element of thrift involved (and also perhaps because of Judy's nomadic existence in the last few years of her life) but this outfit was a particular favourite possibly because it worked whether she was carrying a few extra pounds or significantly underweight as she was in the last couple of years

Remarkable, truly remarkable. You can't escape her talent. Looking through many of her clips on You Tube and other places, she wore this outfit over and over again (along with some other great outfits that were made for her TV show by Bob Mackie). They always make her look so beautiful. No matter if it was because she had to be thrifty. You don't catch anyone today wearing anything twice.

Passionate & wildly soulful, nobody could infuse a song with so much greatness like Judy...Ed was thrilled and easy to see why...Bravo Judy!

@pusspleaser134 and after her show ended in 1964, Judy's voice was damaged in Hong Kong , and was never the same , but she still gave a song everything she had, and to me will always be the greatest

the saddest part is those under 30 have no clue what talent really is unless educated as such. Wow what a women

"THE LEGEND!"

@pusspleaser134 i agree.. it must have been an honor to create for "THE LEGEND"!!!!!!!

sfsoma have you ever heard of Bob Mackie? He was on the design team and he dressed Cher so you know he was excited to have dressed Judy Garland the Legend!!!!!
Sullivan says at 4.40 - I don't blame her. what does he mean?

I think he actually says "I don't blame you" to tthe audience in response to their huge response to Judy's blockbusting performance
