  • I have 80 of John Wayne's movies. My grandfather was a huge fan of his and when he died he got me started on the Duke. Now I can't get enough!

  • Duke was the greatest!

  • "Can't miss with that!" LOL

  • great video.

  • Well, that bored me

  • He never ran off to Canada

  • When it comes to movie directors,John Ford kicks every ones ass! He must have liked firearms alot because his movies always have that gun feel to them??

  • @devildoc225 and, too be honest, Wayne wasn't too good an actor, either.

  • @devildoc225 The Duke signed up for enlistment in the Navy but got rejected because of his old USC Trojan football injury. He wanted to serve his country, and tried hard enough. If he didn't qualify to serve in the military, don't put the blame on him!...do research on John Wayne before talking smack about him or knocking him, Mister!

  • @devildoc225 Well thats awsome that you were a vet, Honestly i love john wayne and love his movies. Right now im working and such, if i came accorss a large sum of money so things would be taken care of and i didnt have to work i would join the army but as of right now i cant

  • @SoccerDJRob Yeah, Wayne was a good actor. However, he also skated during the draft in WW2. The studios got him "deferments"... Translation: He dodged the draft. Many other actors of equal, or even bigger status enlisted, or were commissioned during WW2. Jimmy Stewart, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Kirk Douglas, Robert Mtchum to name a few. Wayne was a good actor, but lets not make him into a God. He could have served, but he didn't. And before you ask, yes, I am a combat vet.

  • IVe watched this movie about 5,000 times. Ive been known to watch it several times a day for a month straight. :)
