CART FEDEX 2002 CHAMPIONSHIP - VIDEO RACE RECAP - June 16 2002 -- G.I. Joe's 200 -- Portland International Raceway -- Portland, Oregon. It took four starts before real racing. Brack and da Matta were the fastest for the first half of the race. It took no more than 15 laps for Takagi to end his race in the tires. Fernandez did a great pass on Nakano and Andretti... brilliant move! Vasser experienced some spun in the pits. Moreover, Tracy could not resist a caress to Fittipaldi. In the second half of the race, Brack, the leader lost his left rear wheel. This was the end of the day. da Matta took the head and did not let it to Junqueira who was running strong.
