  • @osupeach The tunnel walk started in 1994, so it is less than 20 years old. Traditionally speaking, Script Ohio is the much better tradition with much more history. The loyalty of husker fans to their team explains why they won that particular poll. I think a lot of husker fans would admit to that.

  • i was there and got t-magics signiture

  • @alexhortdog95 I agree about the impossibility of rating one tradition over another. What I meant was that I wanted to hear the history behind it and why it has come to have the significance it has. I have history on my mind because we're celebrating 75 years of Script Ohio this year. It gives us something to celebrate around the other mess that's been going on in Columbus. :-/ That being said, welcome to the Big 10! Everyone I know is looking forward to playing you guys this season.

  • @osupeach It's because you don't understand the importance Husker football has here in a state where it's the #1 and only draw. Not to mention folks here are blue collar and proud of their team. It's all about Tradition (which is why we're going to enjoy the Big 10). That being said, as a Husker fan, I think it's hard to rate one tradition over another. I am a husker fan first, college football fan second - so any pregame ritual in college pumps me up (just like Dotting the 'I') :-)

  • Can someone explain the significance of this tradition to me? This is a genuine question, and not trying to stir up any trouble or anything. I don't know if anyone has seen the poll on ESPN about which tradition is better - Script Ohio or this one - and I have to admit I don't understand why this one was chosen from Nebraska. But I think it might just be that I don't understand the significance. I'm learning that Nebraska has as rich a history and as fanatic a fanbase as my own and I love it.

  • Awesome job!
