Taken from the beginning of Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger Episode 1.

@UlqiorraS lol dude i know no one hit his leg, I thought he injured himself from doing the dempsey roll, in the manga he gets injured doing an evolved form of it so thought that maybe they were foreshadowing how the injury would be later on in the series

@unitb125 think about it in boxing your not allowed to hit below the belt and if someone does they dont hit in the leg they would hit in the penis so like squashyjohnson he was tired and if you watched the whole fight ippo was beaten down pretty bad so anyone would be tired after all that so thats how he stop

Wait, what? The ippo anime (back when it was still airing) wasn't getting as many views as it should cuz of One Piece? Pft, that the company's fault for putting it in the same time slot then I guess.

@exisferis666 I guess he is speaking like a commentator? I'm sure a Japanese person who doesn't understand very much English would say the same about our sports commentators.
