What Can Science Do for Me? The series follows five people with different chronic health conditions as they meet scientists working at the cutting edge of research into diagnosis, treatment and prevention of their particular condition.
Their conditions are Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn's Disease, Autism and Cystic Fibrosis.
The five individuals also talk about their own artistic passion -- from singing and art, to stand-up comedy and song writing. The interviews give an insight into the physical and emotional impact each condition has on creativity as well as on daily life.
The series premiered on Community Channel in November 2007 but all five episodes are available to view online in full screen by visiting ...
www.communitychannel.org/science where you can also download a factsheet on each condition.
