    thats not true..some customers want to keep their coax....that pix comes from piss poor equipment...they dont give no time for new lines plus customer is not going to pay 55 per lline...

  • These were some very interesting comments. It really is too bad they are not constructive though. There is blame to go around for Uverse. Starting at the very bottom and extending to the very top.

    Sales sells people the world with their lies, then the techs get there and do a shit job. Then Tier 1 and 2 have to hear the cus bitch and complain about how Comcast was so much better. then after a few calls/dispatches you get a real tech/agent to fix the issue.

  • I have been in Support now for over 2 years and have most issue resolutions pretty much memorized. Not all Techs or Agents (lvl 1 or 2) are piss poor, most good agents have just been fired for some purposefully impossible to meet stat or another. Some field techs are not even techs these days, one I dealt with was a realistate agent and got prem tech job a few weeks before. He was trying to tell me how Voip works... The primary issue is 21st century tech on 20+ year old wiring.. FTTP is FTW.

  • Thank you!!!!! Tier 1 and Tier 2 kill me with getting on things like this trying to say its the technicians fault and we dont know how to install. All they do is look at they little quality checks and say its good or bad. They couldnt point out a NID from a DVR. Im not saying they are useless, but dont try to put all blame on technicians. We are the ones out there dealing with all this.

  • hahahha is uverse still giving you idiots trouble? i used to work for em.. it's a double edged sword kinda thing.. they treated us shitty here at work too... i will say this tho.. while alot of the customers are flat out dumbasses.. alot of the customers are right.. att just sucked ass at delivering what should be considered good quality tv.. however keep in mind that there are some customers who don't experience a problem.. whether they're close to the vrad or not.. man im just glad i left..

  • TIER 1 and TIER2 dont know JACK about What is the problem in a home. Do not allow them to tell you ANYTHING regarding suggestions. They live in areas that may not even HAVE AT&T, let alone UVERSE.

    SoME are not even in the USA!!!

  • I am also a Tier 1 Tech support agent. And I can tell you that the pixelation like that is caused by a bad coax line going to your uverse box or from the gateway. Tighten them up. If you get Uverse installed ask for Ethernet lines to all the boxes instead of coax. The ends of the coax cables are never crimped right or they often work themselves loose. Also get rid of that old ass coax lines and invest in having some new ones dropped.

    Some of those lines are decades old im sure of it.

  • lol i used to work for a company contracted under at&t for uverse tech support. My heart really goes out to some of at&t's customers, but most are really dumb(im talking about the people who call us when they can't connect their wireless when they reinstall their OS and dont have any drivers, or when they cant function their remote control, lol some old people need to die already) and i swear to god i get so pissed off now when i hear someone say the words "frustrated" "frustrating" etc...
