Sorry, but its not just arabs that toss their heads like that. Mine do it all the time when at liberty and sometimes when in their stall and wanting to siff and "visit" with with the horse in the hallway they are not able to reach. I will have to say thou I have only been around TWH so I dont really know about other breeds. I suspect they all do when feeling impatient or showing off. Kinda like I have seen a lot of girls do when they toss their head and flip their hair LOL :)

As an Arab owner, I can tell you that ALL of mine do the head-tossing thing. It's something I've only seen in Arabs though.
