My name is Bubbles and I'm a Miniature Schnauzer. The good folks at the Humane Society in Cambridge, Ontario believe that I came from a puppy mill. Why? Im very timid around other dogs and people and prefer to be left alone in my crate or in a corner. I shake and hold up my paw to tell people Im unsure, but they approach anyways. If they approach backwards, slowly and without eye contact, that is better for me.
Dave is working on bringing me out of my shell. So far I am able to eat beside him and even take food from his hand! Since Ive never really been walked, going out with the other dogs on leash is a struggle. Once I calm down and get going it becomes easier though.
While I need lots of love, I dont need you to feel sorry for me. I need a confident, relaxed leader who can calmly show me how to enjoy the finer things in life (like going for long walks in the woods, eating lots of treats, and perhaps even going for a car ride!).

oh my! Bubbles is so cute! I have a miniature schnauzer myself and he is a wonderful part of our family. I hope you find a good home for Bubbles. If I weren't so far away, I'd love to have Bubbles. I'm from Missouri.
