  • never knew he was from Long Beach.

What a trip, one take for Bad Times! That is some serious skill. That has to be the very first political rap from the westcoast.

  • ps: only thing i don't like about this vid is the sound quality. please upload with hgiher bitrate sound next time as it is very buzzy as it is now

  • i love how when he describes everything, it's like "bang, bang, bang" it seems there was more energy back in music back then, people did thing with gusto, energy, vibrancy, and excitement. I also enjoy how a lot of people were invovled in the creation of music. good stuff.

  • I recorded a song by Captai

n Rapp called "Agony". It was produced by Oscar T. Knock. Very cool early West Coast Rapp song. I played the Solo.

  • @designerarts 21st and elm east side lbc in the 80s .....elm street was crackin back then nice vid

  • I agree. Westcoast HOF! Snoop can make it happen

  • Hello Captain Rapp it's good to see you we're a long way from 21st and Elm St. Long Beach, California. I remember Captain Rapp and before Bad Times came out he use to come by so I can hear how his lyrics would sound and what I thought. I was offered to be a part of what he was doing after Bad Times came out. Captain Rapp came back from Okland, CA so we can hook up to do some work with but I turned it all down to live a life for Christ. 21st and Elm, WOW brought back memories. Dynamic Crew.
