http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/guitar/electric/fender-road-worn-player-stratoca... The popular Road Worn series instruments struck a chord with guitarists with their aged, well-played look and feel and their incredible value. New Road Worn Player series guitars take the experience a step further with modern player-centric modifications including hotter pickups for smoldering, gritty tone and a flatter fingerboard for smooth, effortless bends. Lightly aged with care, Road Worn Player guitars feel immediately comfortable and familiar, offering endless miles of musical inspiration.

The Road Worn Stratocaster HSS guitar features an alder body with a lightly worn lacquer finish, modern "C"-shaped maple neck with lightly worn urethane finish, rosewood fretboard with 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, Texas Special™ neck and middle pickups, Seymour Duncan® Pearly Gates humbucking bridge pickup, five-way switching, aged knobs and switch tip, three-ply pickguard, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, and deluxe gig bag.

  • what amp are you using in the first part? its a cracker sound

  • @zakk2bwylde It's a Fender Mustang 3 combo..

  • saying brand new and road worn doesn't add up...

  • @masterbeat04 It's just been released, hence brand new model, but its made to look old, so its old and new, all at the same time, get it ?, if not , get a US standard, its a new new model, thats new, and shiny, and new, so its a new guitar but not a new model. I know what your gonna say

    Each to his own......

  • I think fender should release this in an "un-reliced" model. Fender doesn't have an affordable nitro finish model that isn't a relic. I like the whole relic look but I want a legitamate relic. Not a factory job. Fender should do another affordable model called ROAD READY and just give it a nice nitro finish. Then after a few years you can have a real relic. Anyhow nice playing and all. Cool video.

  • Can you do one for the Modern Player strat HSS?

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooo niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • is this strat made in the usa?

  • Beautiful guitar. Looks and sounds incredible!!!

  • @huggy2481 depends on what you like

a mahagony body sounds different to an alder body and the pickups are different as well

if you love rock choose the sg, deeper sound and the set neck for more sustain

if you like funk or blues and you sometimes want to play with a little more gain choose the Strat because even a splitted humbucker dont get the sound of real singlecoil

  • gibson sg standard with coil splitting...or the fender road worn? what do you think?

  • @Stratonini I totally agree, man. Actually, I think they were kinda going for that with the Highway 1 Series of guitars. I have a HW 1 Tele and the finish is super thin, but it's I believe more of an acrylic based paint than Nitro.
