Canadian WW2 Typhoon fighter bomber pilot John Flintoff a member of RCAF 440 squadron, describes a harrowing close call when he had to land his crippled Typhoon and make his way back to base. John is relaying this story from the museum at Bayeux, France where he was on a tour with other Typhoon pilots for the dedication of a memorial which honours all the Typhoon pilots who fought for the liberation of France. After John tells his story an American historian who was listening to John thanks him for what he did during the war.
