  • Absolutely flawless - I am just amazed at this essentially untrained talent - somewhere I heard that a famous opera singer asked, "what does it take to sing like that?" and Geraldine Farrar, I believe, answered, "a lot of hard work and a very special arrangement with God."

  • this beautiful video along with the music captures so well the whole point of christian (and other divine) spirit, I think... that it is this need we have to look upward, for more peace and freedom and some other world, less cruel than this one.. only such special music could capture this otherworldly atmosphere, methinks..

  • It is a real pleasure and an honour to pass comment on this beautiful masterpiece. In my humble opinion this is a truly beautiful heavenly piece of music and with the angelic voice of a Goddess that ascends the heavens and travels the the heavenly universe. Everything is placed on hold as this beautiful masterpiece traverses the universe.in a beautiful serenity and sea tranquillity to the gates of heaven and beyond.

  • wow.. I keep repeating the music because i don't want to leave.. I am so glad that we have the technology that enables us to hear Rosa Ponselle after 85 years.. thank you for uploading this..^^

  • Awesome. As perfection does not exist-this can not then be improved upon.TY for posting this gem of gems.

  • I have listened to numerous artist's renditions of this beautiful piece but this version is captivating.

  • So beautiful

  • Thank you so much for this precious record .

  • where's the voice?

  • @shipcomesin I read your original comment and I seem to have misinterpreted your tone. Such is the deceptive nature of written communication... It struck me as decidedly more pious initially, but I see now I must have read into it what wasn't there... I think we do agree!

  • Nice vid! Just thought I should point out some mistakes I noticed in the lyrics...=P

"Et benedictus fructus ventri tui Jesus",

    "Sancta Maria", &

"Nunc et in hora mortis nostrae"...

Love this piece and her voice btw!=D

  • meu Deus....
