Prove Yourself from Pablo Honey (1993)

LYRICS:
I can't afford to breathe
in this town
Nowhere to sit
with out a gun in my hand
Look back up to the cathode ray...

I'm better off dead
I'm better off dead
I'm better off...

Prove yourself
Prove yourself
Prove yourself

I want to breathe, I want to grow
I say I want it but I don't know how
I look, I bleed, I beg and pray

I'm better off dead
I'm better off dead
I'm better off...

Prove yourself
Prove yourself
Prove yourself

I'm better off dead
I'm better off dead
I'm better off...

Prove yourself...

You don't understand but das okay, it was a bit messed up anyway. Have a nice day.

Ugh that rimes too much :S just creepy

  • @AwesomeCoasters well, I don't feel upset or offended if they call it amazing. just a guy who likes it more than me, and well, I can tell he has good musical taste

  • @etejuanete3

    Nice, not amazin, I know.

  • @AwesomeCoasters c'mon dude, Pablo Honey's nice, and has great moments. of course, all the other albums are better, but that doesn't take those moments away from this one.

  • @lyonslaforet That's all opinion. I personally think the best album of the 90's was either Ok Computer by Radiohead, or Pinkerton by Weezer.

  • All this good music was coming out in the 90s meanwhile my 6-year-old-and-under self was too busy thinking that Under the Sea and Hakunah Matatah were the best songs available. I think most people tend to wish they were born a decade earlier, so they could live their teenhood in their birth decade. In my case I wish I was born in 83 instead of 93 so I could've gone to see live shows of broken-up bands like Nirvana & Sublime, and bands that were still at their peak like Green Day & NOFX.

  • @Crust218 I disagree. The best album of the nineties is Ten (1991) by Pearl Jam. As for Prove Yourself, it's an excellent sign of what was to come later.

  • Love 1:22 and onward. Great, classic song from the world's best band.

  • Possibly the best album of the 90s.

  • 2 people couldnt Prove Themselves
