Here's the instructions.
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Phone
3. Once loaded, there will be an option called "SIM Applications" when you scroll down. Click on English and a Welcome MSG will pop within the first 10 seconds.

Pausing your video at :23 shows me your problem. my personal opinion is you did not cut the extra little bit of the sim card correctly and the SIM is not able to function as a result. The symptoms you are getting back my opinion up. The little black transformer on the Gevey needs to be exposed. I have unlocked more than 30 iphones with Gevey. thumbs up if you agree.

@lelotortelli my gevey was working on my ios 4.3.5 but when i upgrade to ios 5 it didnt work. and i have the same problem as yours. does anyone know how to fix this shit im going crazy now

can someone help me.. my simcard doesnt recognized when i insert my gevey sim too. theres no app phone.

No welcome? This will work guaranteed 100% =]
1) Make sure u turn ur Wifi's OFF and 3g OFF
2) Make sure ur Lockscreen passcode is DISABLED (VERY IMPORTANT)
3) Now power down your device...
Here is the most important step! You have to do this VERY QUICKLY or else it wont work.
4) As soon as the Lockscreen appears, slide the slider right away as fast as you can AND WAIT!!!! DONT DO ANYTHING for about 10-15 secs. If u weren't fast enough ur signal will say "Searching" ...if so restart & try again!

Hi theren i really think that the issue is the brazillian carrier sim card,i have the same problem.i pretty much sure that it's a sort of code or something that applenberry didn't work on it!!!!!

I have the exact same problem as you. I have cut my sim card much smaller than yours and it's still not working...my packaging looks just like yours, did we buy fake ones? I do not know what else to do

@Qaisjaan Don't think it's fake. A friend of mine bought on the same site and his is working fine! The guys at Applenberry asked me to restore the phone to factory settings. I did that, no change. They said they wanted to isolate the problem: wether it's the phone or the gevey. I'll email them again and let you know here.
