OSATv TouchLine host, Anthony Totera, interviews Yukon U16 Boys & Girls on their unique experience of playing competitive soccer in the Canadian North, the challenges associated with finding high-level competition in the remote and sparsely populated Yukon and the short outdoor playing season due to weather, the assistance provided by the CSA in the form of coach and player development clinics in the North, the commitment required and the expense involved in travelling far afield into British Columbia and the U.S.A. to gain competitive experience, the importance of parent, community, club, association and self-generated fundraising efforts to finance their soccer travels, and their experiences travelling as a team to a large urban centre in Southern Ontario.
