I think you could make that guitar sound so much better using say an Alessandro Red Bone
don't get me wrong the tone is very nice but not up to it's potential
and this is all my opinion only of course.

Are you using your master to get your amp to drive like that? That's the only way I can get mine to drive. Way too loud without it. What tube setup are you runnin'?

Yeah, im using the master in this clip. Big rooms-no master, no pedals. Smaller rooms-master volume and Zendrive. When you don't use the master, the power tubes get pushed more and the sound is ridiculous. It's my favorite. Check out some of the other vids I have. The soulshine cover is a good example of non-master volume sound.

This is a bad ass clip capturing the Matchless tone! You runnin a pedal in front of it? Nice work too!

@dparel Yeah, I'm using a Zendrive in this clip. I mainly use it for a volume boost. I much prefer just turning the amp up but then I'm kinda limited to just a dirty tone...a very dirty tone. This amp has a fantastic clean tone as well but at lower volumes. I also use a Boss digital reverb pedal since this amp has no reverb. As far as overdrive, I have yet to play an amp that's even in the same ballpark as this one. Ideal setup imo would be this amp and a nice ol' Fender and and A/B/Y box.
