Despite negative impacts on neighbors, the city council advanced Resolution 10-003 to condemn lots 64 & 65 in 42 days! The contiguous Old KFC lot 63 was not considered even though it was a much more viable lot.

Update: Owners subpoenaed city officials but Mufi Hannemann's attorneys quashed on basis that public officials are very busy; owners are a nuisance, harassing and inconveniencing these officials. Ironically, on their way home to Hauula, owners saw Bryan Mick - City Community Relations sign-waving for Mufi Hannemann in front of Nimitz City Mill at 11:34 am August 11, 2010.

Update: May 15, 2010 Mufi Hannemann city corporation attorneys have filed lawsuit against owners for possession of the land.. Owners have filed lawsuit against city. What a waste of taxpayers' money in today's budget crisis!

Homes and businesses along Kam Hwy in Kahalu'u, Ka'aawa, Punalu'u, Hauula, Laie, Kahuku should start thinking more seriously about eminent domain.

This is not about common $en$e, Sista. This is about $10 Million DOLLAR$ .Donovan Dela Cruz has more interest in this than meets the eye. Remember he's running for mayor. He needs donations. City counclmembers are immuned from lawsuits so they can make stupid decisions. Taxpayers will pay for the lawsuits. When there is an accident, the city will pay for this stupid decision. It will have no excuse.
