The Skeptic Antidote took this down from his site. He's planning on making a new one. Until the new one is made, I have permission to post his original here for information and discussion. Some of the numbers have been debated, but it doesn't do away with History, and the point that all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God, not just Christians. That being said, some people without faith, who buy into Social Darwinism and who believe Nietzsche's notion that power is the highest virtue, have set the stage for the atrocities quoted outside the Christian faith in the film. To be fair, attrocities committed by the Catholic Church have been numbered as well. Watch and discuss!

  • Someone had commented, but then removed and asked if the Skeptic Antidote provided an update to this video clip. The Skeptic Antidote took down his own YouTube page. This page is blocked all over the world, supposedly because of the "Music" but it just happens to be blocked in a majority of countries that have the most oppressive oligarchies in power currently - /watch?v=KFXuGIpsdE0 and so for that reason, I myself will remake this video with my own music sometime in 2012 or 2013 so stay tuned

  • to the creator of this video. What about this. Research CHRISTIAN INQUISITION and CRUSADES, that was killing in the name of religion haha, same with ISLAM.

Adolf Hitler who is a christian who killed jews and many more.

  • @jeremyunderground41 Protestantism not only encouraged American Independence during colonial times, but helped bring about many reforms and leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. When Christians are taught from the Bible by other fellow Christians and are no illiterate and at the mercy of the Priesthood of the Catholic Church, their actions and story follows a path of reform that blesses people.

/watch?v=oBi-5Y-onVI One only has to study Hitler closely to realize he used religion like Saddam.

  • What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and independence of the Fatherland; so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the Creator. - Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 8

  • @userunaway /watch?v=oBi-5Y-onVI One only has to study Hitler closely to realize he used religion like Saddam and by the time the Hitler Youth Movement was in full swing and operation only 1 in 4 boys had a belief in God - The clip referenced those close to Hitler, saying that his use of religious phrases were a cruel joke, since he had no real belief himself - see the quotes by A.Zoller in the clip referenced from "Twelve Years with Hitler, Confidentials of a Secretary"

  • @userunaway - "His own conviction can be summarized in the often repeated words by him: Christianity has restrained the world now 2000 years in her own natural development" - A.Zoller - "Twelve Years with Hitler, Confidentials of a Secretary"

"The reason the antique world was so pure, light and serene is because they hadn't experienced two huge plagues: the smallpox and Christianity" - Adolf Hitler (source - Farrar, Straus and Young "Hitler's Table Talk 1941-1944")

  • No one has ever killed in the name of atheism,I dare you to show even one example.

Atheists have killed sure but none of them ever did it in the name of atheism.

The various churches around the world are not so innocent.

The Catholic church and the Islamic faith have more blood on their hands than any atheist.

Your facts are wrong and biased which i expect from a religious person.

You're deluded enough to believe a fairy tale so you attempt to hide the truth with a stupid video.

    Grow up.

  • I didn't watch the whole vid but from what i have seen...Its hilarious. I don't think Stalin killed in the "name of atheism", but there's been quite a few "in the name of god/allah/jesus" killings...quite disturbing ones too...like that yank woman who killed her two sons because "Jesus told her"...i don't have that problem because Space Gandalf doesn't speak to me. PEACE!

  • @jeremyunderground41 If you research the Sunday School Movement that while arisen from Protestant Churches in America, but separate in that Lay people ran it, not clergy, and where the first schools in much of America taught people to read the Bible, from it arose the first Abolitionist writers to oppose slavery, arose the leadership of the Suffrage movement that gave women the right to vote since women were amongst the first teachers of men in the Sunday School Movement.

  • @jeremyunderground41 You might do better to research History and you could start with the History of the English Bible provided in the playlist for this page. In the Catholic Church only the Priest could read the dead Latin Language, the people were illiterate and so they were corrupted by a cult of Christianity that started when a Bishop in Rome declared himself the first Pope and separated from the Orthodox Church.

  • @turgore To assert oneself as god is the heart of atheism, and in the heart of goats who claim to be Christians, but to whom Yahweh will say on the day of judgment, after they say, "Didn't we perform great miracles in your name?" - away from me, I never knew you. All of their works righteousness could not save them, and they thought like Muslims, they could manipulate and control others into doing their bidding abusing the Holy Name (reality) of Yahweh to do so claiming they were from Him.

  • @turgore Also, I'm Norwegian in ancestry since my Grandfather's family immigrated from there to Minnesota and when he was stationed in Alaska during WWII he stayed and married my Native Grandmother. My heart goes out to the people of Norway. This man was not a Christian, never claimed to be, and was a member of no denomination or movement of faith associated with Christianity. What you see with this man is the self asserting itself as god instead as a brother of all humanity which Jesus was.
