and to make matters even worse, when I contacted their customer service to tell them about my problem with their super laggy app, they denied it was happening. telling me that it works perfectly, that they've tested it....blah blah blah.....when in reality, i'm sitting here trying to control my god damn computer with my iPad, and it's laggy as fuck.
the app sucks......and their customer service to back it up sucks even more. save yourself the 12$

I have had this app on my iPad 2 for about 8 months now.....and I hate it. it is by far the worst app on my iPad, I use splash top remote instead, and even it isn't perfect. the problem is simply the enormous lag.....i will scroll down on my iPad, see it scroll down quickly on my actual computer screen, but it moves 5 seconds later on my iPad. it's slow to load up applications, it's slow to load up web pages, it's slow doing everything.

this app is advertised as being able to view flash....is this so?? I dont mean when in remote desktop mode..thx

This video shows it all working!!
Do you have a video of how to get it to work!!!
3 hours on and I am still stuck (iPad - PC)
-
how to use it on local area network?

One thing that is irksome is the fact that the wireless keyboard isn't supported. If they did that then this could really cook with short cuts. They really need to simplify this it is so easy to make a mistake.

Desktop Connect isn't very easy to use. Ok everyone has trouble doing this wifi stuff and then you see the screen and wow that part is cool but.. "Full Keyboard" "Short cut keys".. No.
I use combinations like command-letter z,x,c,v,b,t,d,q,w or tab. I don't see how you can do that with your "short cut keys". The gestures for scrolling or highlighting aren't easy either. I'd love to just tap tap like the guy in the video but it isn't that easy. What is the trick?
can u post a full set up video for windows for this app please

Because I have pre-ordered a 3G ipad.
And It should come next week.
I'm deciding between ITeleport and this.

Please check out our website for our free Windows and Mac application called Easy Connect which works with Desktop Connect 2.0.
