This is a short video tutorial on multiplying decimals with the lattice method. For interactive applets, worksheets, and more videos go to http://www.mathvillage.info
I really hope you read these views because i was really lost. i went on another thing on lattice they gave me horrible stuff i could not even understand them but you made it very very very clear .if your not already a teacher you should be one thanx dude
You can visually see where the decimal point should be without counting if you look at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical lines where the decimal points are located and follow that diagonal to the outside.
Thanks!! My daughters 6th grade math teacher ( Mr Gibbons ) actually told her he didn't know how many places to move the decimal point over when multiplying using the lattice. ??? I was unfamiliar with the lattice method, but your video made it easy. Thanks
Thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou!
