Paiste trash hat video sample

Desmond asked me about my "trash hat", so here's a video sample.

A trash hat is a custom hi-hat usually made out of a crash and a china. Here I'm using a Paiste Innovations 14" heavy hihat top and a Paiste Alpha 16" china. They work together pretty well, don't you think?

The sound is really "different", so it's not something that you can use everywhere. But in a certain part, that needs a certain feel, this can be a nice flavor.

If there's something else that you use for a trash hat, put it in the comments! If you can make a video, that's even better. And for those that are new to this, but have some extra cymbals laying around - go ahead and experiment!
