Nook Tablet OS Tour, Part 1

It's the battle of the bookstore tablets! B&N countered Kindle Fire with Nook Tablet, a $249 tablet with a dual-core OMAP processor, 7" touchscreen, and customized version of Android 2.3. More or less a successor to last year's Nook Color, Nook Tablet is here for the holidays. Noah takes you on a tour of the OS and features. http://tchno.be/sYc4xn

  • You were looking up porn and you thought that would look bad for your PR. So you decided to look up something that anyone can relate to which is cars. Smart but not smart enough for me.

  • that little bar, is called the media bar and can be undone and put also on the nook color

  • @l3uul3ear0421 every friday,on the nooks, one book, i think goes free for that friday

  • @l3uul3ear0421 Barnes & Noble offer free books every Friday. I would suggest the Nook Tablet for $250, but if you just want to read books and browse the internet, with option to add games, choose the Nook Color for $200.

  • From what I can tell, the Nook Tablet is about the most customizable that Android has gotten, other than 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.I'd have to say Ice Cream Sandwich is about as far as Google has went to make Android extremely customizable, especially looking at Jon's review of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

  • Is this running on android cuz I only use Barnes and noble for nook 1 and it just broke

  • @l3uul3ear0421 Go with the Nook Color for $200 or Nook Tablet for $250. You can download FREE BOOKS every Friday, by typing the word "free" on the whichever one you get.

  • @blkwidow34 how does the free book thing work? I'm thinking of getting a tablet that isn't costly and I don't play games much mostly i want something to read and keep my books my shelves and closet is all full. Web browsing would also be nice. Any helpful advice?

  • I got mine, yay!

  • I'm buying this for Christmas! I love how it looks!
