@RuinSonic we are in trouble for taxing to much (that is why coproations took the manfacturing over seas, and spending to much over seas wars and peace keeping forces in dangerous violitile places like Japan. and Germany and Britian and France and Turkey and we got bases all over the freaking place where we aren't even needed. South KOrea could invade China North Korea is a push over. in comparison but we are lied to , and lead into beleiving South Korea needs us for their safety. its BS.

Ideally I don't want cuts. If rolling back the Bush tax cuts and cut military spending is enough then let's go with that. But I don't think Ron Paul wants that. Simply cutting our involvement with other countries while lowering taxes is not going to get us out of our debt and economic trouble.

@RuinSonic oh the Opt out .. yeah We are broke can never justify spending cuts at home while we have foriegn aid going on. if we can give money to foreign countries we can give it to states. while war happens we should have full free healthcare. how much will it cost? 4 trillion? we can do that.. we did it for war..... that is why i like Ron Paul cause he is the 1 saying . no don't draw down the force numbers in this economy, just bring them home, no don't cut benefits while we give foreign aid

@TinyMcLarge I never said end it. Obviously what is paid in should still be there at the very least. Just cut how much more we pay into the system. And yes we should cut war funding. We are broke. It's popular to pretend like we can be fine just cutting what program we think is over funded and keep everything that's convenient but that's not reality. The only other option is to also skyrocket taxes which most americans don't want. We want to have our cake and eat it.

@RuinSonic The retiring people are owed Social Security. if you end social security the US government owes a lot of Americans a check. because the money was forcefully taken from them ... this idea that we can cut SS right away while continueing wars and crap..

@TinyMcLarge But you just said he would increase it. Why would he do that? Nonetheless I think we probably need to cut it. We are broke and we don't even have money to be socialists even if we wanted to. American socialism is the biggest failure of all. We all want tax cuts and we want the government to take care of us. We don't even succeed at capitalism either. We have big corporations exploiting the system backed up by the government. This isn't free market, this is a disaster.

@RuinSonic Look it up lol.. in princiable we should as a society reject the idea that Government can care for us. because they do a bad job. ,but we were taxed for social security so Ron Paul says "No you can't end it right away that would be fraud , people were made to be depenant on Social Security the "Safety Net" so we can't cut it right away ..we need to cut over seas.
