what is the geology of that area, an old river bed or what ? looks so flat, or is that just my perception

Its actually just the side of a hill with a gentle slope.

@lucakiss70 That is true. This is in my opinion a rare find. 3 months in Alaska, I came up with 15 grams slushing.

This is one fine catch, I bet these guys ate well that night!
