Doom kicked ass!
Could of been scarier and had more beasts in and storyline wasnt too good but still alright movie...

Peter Jackson is next in line to pick up the reins for the halo franchise...and after seeing district 9 i have no doubt that Jackson can pull it off.....that is, if he accepts the duty

No, he isn't. Him and Blomkamp already had their chance and it fell apart. And Peter Jackson didn't do District 9 he only produced the money for the movie. If anyone is picking up Halo it's going to be Steven Spielberg.

Yep It almost definitely going to be Steven Spielberg. Neil Blomkamp didn't think it would make a good movie because of the "faceless character" of Master Chief.

which is stupid, two of the most memorable recent charictars in action or suspense films i think were V for vendetta and rorschack from the watchmen (no film debates aside from charictarisation). its sad when directors close their mindds like that

Spielberg...that would be balls, he has hangups on making films that focus on the family dynamic and that would fucking blow in Halo.
