Because it's fiction. Why can't Hollywood make a movie that's true instead of filling it full of garbage? Paul McCartney thought it was so bad he decided to make a documentary that was true to counter it. I love Buddy but I can't stomach a movie full of lies. That's why they changed the names of everyone so they wouldn't get sued for all the false information in it.
