Now that I see a young picture of her in the beginning of the video, I'm wondering if it was her after all. I can't confirm that with my father now because he has passed on. Where else can I get info on her beside the books she has written? This duchess was studying stones in the rivers.

My father said that she was a duchess, very beautiful, and was fond of wearing riding boots and carrying a short horse whip. I thought that it may have been Alexandra David Neel, but when I showed him pictures of her, he said that it wasn't her. The books show an older Alexandra.

Hi Stephan ... I had read her books because of the research I was making on my father's biography. My father in 1920's had acted as a guide through Tibet for a woman explorer, whose name was transliterated to Chinese as Lu-Mali, perhaps Louis-Marie. Alexandra David-Neel was also named Louis-Marie before she took her married name.

OM SVASTI Madame Alexandra was very courageous and very educated woman. We like her travel reports in written form.
