Music Documentaries from Australia and New Zealand:
This is part three of Richard Clapton speaking to Pete Thompson about his life and career on 'Talking Heads' in 2008.
Richard Clapton reflects on his time in America and the amount of interest he got over there during his stay.
Back in Australia, he befriended a new wave band from Sydney called INXS and with them, produced the band's second album 'Underneath The Colours'.
He then speaks about the thriving music scene that was happening in Australia during the 1980's and his association with INXS, Jimmy Barnes, etc.
In the mid eighties, Richard Clapton became a father of two girls, which challenged his rock 'n' roll lifestyle. His marriage ended during the nineties.
Richard reflects on this and the future as an independent musician and father.
